Orange Business Services to Launch Business Broadband in UK

Orange Business Services today announced the next step in its journey to become a total communications provider with the launch of business broadband services and a converged data access package. These services are aimed at simplifying end-user experience and company management of communications.

Orange Broadband for Business is being designed for the needs of more than 2.4 million flexible and home workers in the UK. The broadband service will deliver download speeds of up to 8 Mbits, unlimited download usage, with free business customer service calls and a single consolidated bill to deliver added cost control and transparency. Orange will provide end-user support removing hassle for both end-users and company IT teams.

For the first time, fixed internet access will also be available from Orange through the Business Everywhere solution for laptops that connects remote workers to business applications via the internet; independent of the network bearer. Business Everywhere enables access to 3G, GPRS, Edge and broadband DSL networks and includes access to over 19,000 Wi-Fi hotspots across the UK and the rest of the world.

Business Everywhere is designed to provide remote workers with always-on, secure, fast internet access to their company email and corporate applications whilst working from home or on the move, without the confusion of choosing the best network connection.

Combined with Orange data pricing which offers a range of sharer tariffs based on different usage requirements with in country flat roaming rates, the converged Business Everywhere service will greatly simplify the management of mobility solutions for business customers. This converged business service is also fully managed and supported by a dedicated team of Orange Business Customer Service specialists, available 24/7 on a freephone number, and offers one contract, one bill and one customer service point of contact, regardless of the network accessed.

Business Everywhere and Broadband for Business from Orange gives users total flexibility to mix their use of Wi-Fi, 3G, Edge and GPRS, setting no requirements to 'use or lose' minimum portions of any network type. Multiple cash bundles of various prices mean that the service will be available to sole traders through to large organisations.
