ASUS Eee PC: How ASUS can make it perfect
Dec 17, 2007 - 3:38 AM - by Nikos Kartalis

There is no question that Asus Eee PC is a small and stylish technological wonder. It is an affordable, portable and very powerful PC in a very sexy package.

However there are some unimportant facts that keep a lot of people from buying it.

First and the most major one is the 7'' display. For most people this screen is extremely small and combined with the medium resolution of 800 x 480 is a step back from buying this device.

The majority of the buyers of Eee PC are getting it to have web access on the go, but with that screen and resolution a lot of web pages will require a horizontal scrolling for full view.

For a while now the just released 8G model of the Asus Eee was rumored to have a 10'' display making a lot of people happier than ever but in the end the 8G came with the same 7''... [Read More]

Lenovo to discontinued IBM brand
Nov 04, 2007 - 1:19 AM - by Nikos Kartalis
It is been only three years after Lenovo acquired IBM's PC devision and now the company has decided to phase out IBM's brand from their personal computers.

The company has decided to stop using the historic IBM's logo after better than expected results, executives said.

"By making substantial progress on all of our critical priorities over the past few quarters, we are now a stronger, healthier company," said Lenovo chief executive William Amelio.

"One important sign of this progress is our decision to completely transition our Think products from the IBM brand to the Lenovo brand two years earlier than planned."
